PS2 CD won't read can I still play backsup

Haven't touched my PS2 since bein at school, but I wanted to ask, my CD driver is not working. Neither are swap magic, however my HDD has games and my usb stick has games on it.


this is a fat Ps2 and swap magic and card method are all I got. Even popping open the lid of the PS2 the swap magic discs just dont work

That being said is there anyway to boot off backups off a USB drive on a fat ps2, or even adding something to the HD to make it boot backups?
