I'm trying to find the easiest way to back up my games, and play them. I've read so many threads and I've gotten several different ideas. Which is easiest for a newbie, AR or swap magic? And how do you format your memory card or hard drive to play your games after wards?
It installs fmcb too your mc, which then acts like a modchip.
YOu would use ESR.ELF to play backups that have been patched with the ESR disc patcher, then burned to disc.
There are people on that site that will install for you, for the cost of mc and postage. That is all.
Or if you have a FAT PS2, you can get a Network Adaptor and hdd, and copy games to hdd via the pc using Winhiip 1.7.6, or use hdl_dump and transfer games to hdd over network.
Many tutorials on how to do that.
If you would rather get Swap Magic or Armax, I would say get Swap Magic.
The Armax needs to have the media player to work properly and is hard to find the right version anymore.
