Anyway to get my PS2 to play DVD+RW's?

I have an old first batch playstation2 and I noticed that the very new ones are now able to play DVD+RW's. Mine only plays DVD+R's. Is there anyway to get mine to play RW's?

thats not possible...all ps2's read - and v5 and up play + and -(some v4 do also) and if u have a old ps2 it def. wont play +

Mine plays DVD+R. I have an origa chip though.
