We have bought from pixmania.com 3/2008 Hannspree XV37 TV. Lately we have got some problems with it. There is some yellow areas in picture. They appear on faces and especially areas which are bright.

Sometimes it is there on the screen and sometimes the it isn't there for example yesterday there were some yellow areas (especially faces and other light areas on screen) but today those were not there (TV had been shut down at least 12 hours). I think this somehow connected with the temperature of the TV??

Do you have some explanation for this phenomenon? We use xbox and digibox with scart-cable. Scart is't the reason for the problem. We have these yellow areas when using Hanspree with the computer with vga-cable too.

Are those faults that kind they could be easily or somehow fixed?

I have read that some yellow areas appear with rear-projector TV, but I think that it is unusual if we would now have the same problem.
