Hello i have a eurovox max v and am happy with it, but when i turned it on today alot of my channels were missing. The actual channel name and information was there but there was just a black screen with no picture and sound. It also comes up with a message saying Unkowen Service. The ones i am missing are Sky Action, Classics, Drama ect a few music channels also. I live in Greenock just outside Glasgow in Scotland and i am with Virgin (NTL). If you have any ideas or advice could you please post. Thanks.

You need to do a Factory Default on your correct symbol rate, (Not sure whether you are N*L or T*lew*st there are 2 area symbol rate for Glasgow so if you don't know then try both) but on each occasion go to Menu and across to Config and choose Clear Data, and then Factory Default on your symbol rate and a Full Power Scan or more simply put >>>>>>

You do a Factory Default by pressing (Menu) pull right to (Config) pull down then (OK) on (Clear Data) enter 0000 for your pin then highlight (factory default) and press-(OK) then (OK) on your symbol rate, when that's done just press OK and it will Powerscan.

You will get your channels back, another way you might want to try is this, Menu, Installation, User Installation OK enter 0000 and press RED button, update all channels, sometimes gets them all back for you, otherwise do above.

Should sort it for you mate, a Factory Default and Powerscan, if it doesn't then there has to be a TP issue, but I doubt it, otherwise there would have been more posts, good luck.
