Very different procedure to flash a dbox. I do it with an ethernet crossover cable ( available in Maplins ).I think it can be done with a null modem cable. If you want to pm me with your e-mail address, i wil send you all the bumph that I have on it.

Use IFA you will find all you need in Eamos at the end of my post. If you have a Nokia as said make sure you use a 2x image.

tippy1, Sounds like you flashed the wrong type of image. You need to chose either 1x or 2x depending on your box. You need to flash now with "flashing assistant" You can get it here (https://www.ssl-id.de/hallenberg.com/?content=downloads&)I will find instructions for you on how to check which image you need and how to flash with flashing assistant. If yours is a nokia dbox it will always be a 2x image. Don't despair. I've had this problem before.

Scouser, your reply appeared 3 mins before mine. You obviously have a special connection to this site. Sorry I did'nt get there before you. tippy1, when you flash the new image, you are then ready to scan for channels
