I've got a laptop for my daughter for xmas and was doing a little reading about setting up a network between my desktop and the laptop. I'm trying to find out if i'm going to run into trouble the desktop is running xp and the laptop is vista. I want to be able to access all files and folders from either one. every thread that i've read giving some brief explanation has been edited and MOVED but I can't find where they've been moved to to see if I can get more info. All help is much appreciated.
