Hi.

I have just upgraded from an Evsham ebox which is basicall a Media Centre PC I've had for about 4 years. It had a Hauppauge 150 mini TV card and the box had a IR receiver built it and a blaster coming out of the TV card to a STB.. all worked with the MCE remote. Upgraded to Vista 2 years ago and worked just a ws well.

The new PC has a Veris Fusion case with a built in IR receiver with all new bits in it including a standard sized Hauppauge 150 TV card. When I tried to install Media Centre I keep getting the IR Hardware Not Detected message. It finds the TV signal etc but wont let me go any further. I can go through the menus using the MCE remote so the IR receiver in the Veris Fusion case is definatly working! I've also plugged in the IR Receiver/blaster into the TV card.. this is different from my las setup as these are now joined together... and I cant use my old IR blaster has jack point on the back of the card has change size and won't fit.

I've checked the Human Interface Devices within Device Manager and there's no metion of the Microsoft IR kit. Also I've updated the lastest Hauppauge drivers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
