Eurovox max v not flashing

Hi,
When I try to flash with UFL_MAX_V_5_12_08 it will not get a response from the receiver. I have the right cable and have tried it with both usb and serial. I then tried an old loader,
TX_STB_Loader to see if it could connect. It did and for some reason I flashed with EV1_FIX_301108_CORE_291105. It put the software on and now the box does nothing.
When I bought the box last January I checked and it seemed to be a real box and it had been flashed already.
I have another box and dont want to screw it up to so any ideas why the new loader wont connect to my box and can I get my frozen box to work again?

Is there a BIN file of UFL_MAX_V_5_12_08, if there is then could i use TX_STB_Loader or another loader to flash my MAX V.

No, what is happening when you try to flash using the Max V software ?
Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Its acting as if there is no box pluged in. It says there is no response from the recever, asks you to choose the com port, when I do it says Waiting for a response from the recever, but never gets one.

I have managed to get the EVX_TX_H_071123 sofware backon to the first box so it is workind again, just cant get the new software on.

I Googled "no response from recever eurovox" and found a few others with a similar problem but no fix.
Sorry to ask again but if given a bin file of UFL_MAX_V_5_12_08 why cant I use the loader that works to flash the box.

Sorry, but am I reading you right - are you saying that you are trying to flash your Eurovox TX box with the EV Max V firmware. ?

It's that the UFL_MAX_V_5_12_08.exe file which i need to use is a loader and the software for the Eurovox Max V in one Exe file. It will not recognise my box. At first I thought that it was the connection on the box but I tried the TX_STB_Loader and EV1_FIX_301108_CORE_291105 BIN file, it flashed my box but is the wrong software. Then I used the same loader to put back on the EVX_TX_H_071123 BIN file that was originaly on the box, so the Eurovox is back to its original state. I have tried the new UFL_MAX_V_8%_01_12_08.exe as well as UFL_MAX_V_5_12_08.exe neither will recognise there is a box connected. So I thought if there was a BIN file of UFL_MAX_V_5_12_08 I could use the old loader to flash my Eurovox.
Hope that makes some sense.

No it does not come as a BIN file it is a UFL (Unified Fash Loader) and besides the EV Max V firmware and EV TX firmware are NOT compatible for the box's, I think that is what you are trying to do, so don't bother, at best all you will acheive eventually is bricking you TX if your not careful.

I tought that TX_STB_Loader was simply something that was used to access the chip that the firmware is on, so I thought this could be used to put any firmware on.
Although now you mention it the old preladed firmware was EVX_TX_H_071123, was this used on Eurovox Max V or was I sold a TX as a Max V Box.

You tell me, exactly what does it say on the box, and what did it say on the carton is was packaged in, does it look like any of these here, look down the page >>>>>>>>>>>

yep, its a TX with TX missing off the front of it. After looking around am I right that theres no fix yet?

Was this box ever working for you? The Tx box is for MMDS (Ch**us), so if it did work then you don't want a Max V box anyway (as it would not work)

well if it is the EV TX as SG8 has said it is now out and in the Library, from what you have said previously you have got the Loader >>>>>>>>
