Happy christmas everyone!
I am new to blu ray and have read the stickies and downloaded the programs reccomended.

I have ordered a samsung Bd-1500 player from the net, an lg ggw h20l blu ray burner, some verbatim blu ray bdre discs, some dual layer discs and an 8 gb pen drive.

I have a samsung 1080p tv.

Im very confused.. have downloaded a1080p mkv file , should i burn it to blu ray or dual layer disc to get best quality?

Avhcd ? i have also got some 720p mkv files, do these need to go on to the pen drive?

Sorry for noob q's , im new to this, have read the guides but im over whelmed by all the information.

So many different progrms recommended and i want to burn onto the 3 types of media i have bought to see which works best, which is quickest, and which is the best quality.

thanks in advance to anyone who trys to help me.
