Does anyone know whether this illuminator would work on a non Sony camera such as the JVC Everio? I read that it only works for camcorders with NightShot but does that just mean a camera that can pick up infrared lights? If so... I'm 100% positive that my JVC Everio picks up infrared lights (I tested it using an infrared remote). If not, any suggestions for a good IR iluminator for outdoor locations?
