I am a total newbie, and would appreciate it if you could guide me. I have a 1.5 psp (fat) and i want to get one of the M33 firmwares. - I am not sure what steps I should take, and to which version I should upgrade. - Please can you advise. - Is there a specific series of steps I need to take to get from 1.5 to a stable M33 version, or can I just go direct to the latest stable version? (Would appreciate a how-to or a pointer to one)

Yeah I'm in the same boat too, I'm on 1.50 Firmware atmo Looking and reading peoples comments, printing guides to aid me to 5.00 M33-4 Update.

Question: Once you've reached 5.00 M33-4 Update do you then install 1.50 ADD-ON to your Phat-1000 version PSP for Games to work?

I hope hope to have error free PC oneday:)

the 1.50 add on isnt necessary for isos to work but it helps some emulators and homebrews work

Zero9121:

Have you heard of Recovery Flasher v1.41 I think you can go to 5.00M33 Firmware straight from 1.50, If I'm correct You don't need to upgrade to 3.52 M33-4 than Old fashion way 1.50 > 3.52 M33-4 to 5.00 M33-4 ?

I hope hope to have error free PC oneday:)

yeah the way i downgraded my psp was without the pandoras battery i just used the lumines 2 method so i never really need to use the recovery flasher because i stayed up to date with most of the updates but i guess if the recovery flasher works for you then go right ahead and use it. this method i use is fairly simple to use just involves a little more steps but they both get you to 5.00 m33 in the end.
