'Turn off PC until resolved' good advice if you never want to use the PC again.
What PC is it, you need to list the motherboard make and model and revision number, you should hopefully know this if you've attempted a bios upgrade already.
You can try to reset the bios using the jumper and remove battery, then go into setup at boot and make sure any settings are correct ' provided this has allowed you to use the keyboard again'
You could try a USB keyboard, or PS2 if already using a USB, as the bios may have reset to default 'do not allow usb keyboardss'

FIC AM37 1.O I've already looked this up at there website and it says that I can upgrade the bios and thats where I got the info on not to turn it off until resolved. Well this is an update and I got resolved by FIC and they said for me to go ahead and turn it off holding down the end key when I do this and it would revert back to the old bios as long as I did not take the cmos battery out anywhere before doing this. It worked and it booted back up and I'm running it as we speak. But that still does not resolve the issue of being able to upgrade to be able to run a 2400 + cpu. If you have anymore info on this I would appreciate the help thanks Casper35.

It does not show your board version on the page shown below, it only shows board version 1.2 not 1.0, I can't see any mention of board version 1.0 anywhere.

This is the page I was looking at.
http://www.fic.com.tw/support/motherboard/bios.aspx?model_id=107

You need to confirm that the BIOS is compatible with your board revision, otherwise you may find that there is no update that you can use.

That's in an eMachine right? I had one with a 2600+ (2.0 ghz Athlon). You should not have any problems with that 2400+. Yes it's made by FIC (First In Computers).

Well thats what I thought but like I said in my initial post It locks my keyboard up in the middle of the flash where it asks if i what to flash or not. I still been researching it and have found nothing yet. I have also changed keyboards from usb to ps/2 and back and to no avail.
