some game icon pictures don't display with R4 SDHC

I have a DS with one of the knock-off R4 carts that can take the high capacity sd cards. I currently have an 8 gig transcend sd card. All the games load and play fine but some of them are missing their developer information and icon when you select the game from the R4 menu. You know how when you highlight a game from the list the bottom screen shows a little rectangle. SOme games have just a picture of a DS and "Unknown title" in the information section.

I've tried reloading the roms onto the card but it seems that sometimes they work and sometimes they don't. It seems to be with randoms games too. Any ideas?
