How do teleport from the temple for the first time in prince of persia (2008)

I am at the verry beginning of the game and I need to teleport to the first location. I think I have the location selected but i missed the on screen instuctions on how to get to my selected location.

Its a dumd question, I know.

No worries man, it took me some time to figure it out as well.

Once you have chosen your location, press Y (on the controller), or whatever you have chosen as Elika's magic.

It sends out an orb, follow it until you reach the point where you teleport
