HP LapTop Lithium Ion Battery Cell Replacements

I have a HP laptop with 8 Panasonic 18650 lithium ion rechargeable cells. The battery pack is rated at 14.8V 4000MAH. Each cell is 3.7V 2000MAH. The batteries are configured in a 2 parallel x 4 serial array.
I found some replacement cells on eBay rated at 3.7V 2800MAH each. I want to replace the battery pack cells with these which will increae the battery pack current rating from 4000MAH to 5600MAH. I read on a few sites that increasing the current rating is feasible but I never found what the limits were. I don't want to damage my laptop by installing incompatible parts.

Does anybody have any info on this subject or specifically what the limits are when replacing battery pack cells? Any comment or suggestions would be appreciated.

you do damage if using to much voltage, not enough voltage or not enough amperage. the 5600mah will make power last longer.

OK, thanks. Just to reiterate, I only plan on increasing the amperage, all else will remain the same.
