Hi, i apologise for my ignorance in advance, i've just been reading the TsMuxer guide on how to convert MKV to AVCHD for PS3 and Blu-Ray.

Does this program convert mkv files that contain the correct codecs into files or folders that can be burned onto normal dvd+r or dvd 9 discs that can be played in a blu-ray player keeping the original resolution and quality etc.

I've done the muxing part and i'm now on the burning part using imgburn, can i use standard dvd+r or dvd 9 disc or do i need to use blu-ray discs and a blu-ray re-writer etc to play it on a PS3, i did say i was ignorant about the whole thing, thanks for your help.

P.S. I've finished the burning process with imgburn using a dvd 9 disc but when i click on the disc in my dvd re-writer it shows the disc as blank, is this normal.
