How do I play GOW2 backup

I have a slim ps2 with the replacement lid and swap magic disc.All of my other backups are small enough to fit on a reg blank dvd. GOW is almost 8GB. This is new to me. Please tell me what blank media is needed before I waste my time and money. Or direct me to the proper place to ask this question. Thanks all.

um i believe GOW stand for gears of war yes? well to my knowledge GOW is a PC/xbox360 game so it wont work on the ps2 :/

God of War. It is an 8GB iso. Ive tried to burn it on a double layer. That was stupid. There are also lots of other games that are like that and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I've mastered burning wii, psp, and regular ps2 iso's. but the large ones got me stumped. And yes I've used search and can't find any help. Thanks for your response

Isn't there some kind of patch for dual layer discs to get the ps2 to read them? called toxic something or other :P toxic patcher I think.

Use Imgburn or DVD Decrypter to burn Dual Layer games for PS2.
Burn on Verbatim DL DVD+R at 2.4x speed.

Dual Layer games won't work with Swap Magic.

If you have heard of fmcb 1.8 and ESR, then using ESR will boot Dual Layer games that are patched with toxic dl patcher and ESR disc patcher.
