Just a couple of questions regarding these apps. I apologize if I come off like a newbie.

1. I read some people have issues with True-HD audio with these programs. I have tried several True-HD disks and have gotten various results. Some of them have worked fine, while others failed using TsMuxer but worked in TsRemux, and another that failed using both programs. Is there anything I can do to correct this?

2. From what I can tell I like TsMuxer the best because I can use it when the movie has either a single m2ts file or multiple m2ts files as it uses the playlist file to grab the associated m2ts files. If a movie has multiple m2ts files I can't really use TsRemux with it as it can only process a single m2ts file at a time correct? Or would I have to do them all individually and then recombine them with another application?

3. Lastly, can anyone explain to me what the TsRemux option "Blu-ray TrueHD to AC3/DTS HD to DTS" is exactly?

1) Yes, use a professional Blu-ray authoring software suite like Sonic Scenarist.

2) tsMuxeR can not multiplex (mux) Dolby TrueHD at this point in time.

3) That option extracts the lossy (compressed) core that lies within the HD audio track. Within the HD audio track lies the compressed Dolby Digital/DTS track much like a DVD has (albeit with a higher bitrate). The HD audio data contains all the extra information that was removed with the lossy compression algorithm that the regular Dolby Digital/DTS encoder utilises.

Hi,

When using TsRemux v.0.0.21.2 you only get 1 choice of video file to select (vc-1) I presume that this is the HD video file (1080p) ?

Am I correct ?

Thanks

Pete
