hi! Im having a problem on my nero or on my cdrom i guess. i can't burn a data on cd-rw. i'm not having this problem before, but lately i keep on receiving illegal block size for command(most often) or sometimes power calibration error. Im using a vaiocr35g with matshita ram.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">dvd-ram UJ870QJ

Well just my 2 cents but Matshita drive suck.
Power calibration can be caused by:
°the drive needing a firmware update - check the laptop manufacturers site to see if there are any though probably not.
°media - try different media
°dust on the lens - try cleaning the lens with some alcohol & a q-tip - the q-tip should just be damp - do not get any liquid in the drive.
°Poor power - trying changing power connectors though w/ a laptop probably not it and they aren't the easiest to mess with.
°drive is going south
Nothing else really stands out in the log. If it's any consolation I have the dreaded Matshita in my laptop and dvd's and cd's is used to burn to it no longer does.
