how do i convert .sub or .srt subtitles to .son

i have subtitles in .sub and .srt format. i need to convert them to .son to use in DVDmaestro. how can i do it.

or what proggie can use .srt and .sub files for subtitles

Use MaestroSBT, it uses *.ssa and you can export to more types.
i use the son type,while this way i can create subtitle bmp's with selectable colors.
I use SubRip to convert srt to ssa
