Hi all,
I have 2 max V boxes that are giving me trouble.
The first one only shows a red light when plugged in, no boot up lights or anything just red light, It wont do anything, no remote function no button function, nothing
The second one has or had intermittent power on problems. Sometimes it would work as it should and other times it just would not come on at all, then it just would not come on. No lights no nothing.
Tried firmware update first.
No. 1 box appeared to flash ok from hard boot update, then after it was unplugged it went back to red light.
No.2 box would not flash at all.
So I got the jtag cable and using 2008tsop files used skymax first and then jkeys, got both to jtag successfully with both progs. different times of course, no1 one box came on but would not flash, and also seems to still have a channel list in its memory. No2 box came on and flashed and worked great for a few days untill it was plugged out and now it is back to being dead, no lights or anything.
Phew... long description.

No i dident think that it could be that, because I switched over the psu on both boxes and they stayed the same with the same problems, no matter which psu was in the box the box had the same problem. Do you think that it is likely seeing as how the jtag worked and the box worked for a while.

replaced the c14 on both boards and still the same, they werent bulging to begin with, but worth a shot.
In jkeys there is an unlock file, is this the correct file to use on all eurovox max's or is there a different one for the max V.
