ibm t23 dead?

hey guys, i have a IBM t23 thats been stuck in the attic, what it was, about 6 months ago, the charger jack at the back went dodgey, and i had to wiggle it to charge up. eventually it packed in altogether and wouldnt charge

but the laptop came on as the battery still had charge.. but i never risked it so i just left the laptop.. 6month later i drag it out the attic, i bought a replacement AC jack for the back installed it, still nothing, no lights, no charge in battery etc.. (the battery doesnt have one of the battery level indicaters so i cant check and i dont have a tool to check voltage etc)

just want to know what could be up with it? i got it bits at the moment, tried unplugging HD etc and turning it on, noting, no lights, no noise, not a thing...

help plese?
