okay.
i've been through the threads
tried the paper trick thing.
considered updating.

but.
the thing is.
i've had my ds lite for a year now. along with the r4.
i use a r4 revolution, with a sans disc 2gb micro sd card.
the ds works.
the sd card seems to work when i load it onto my computer.
so i have a feeling that theres something wrong with the r4 itself.

basically.
i turn on the r4. it automatically goes straight to "loading"
then.
nothing.
just the black blank screen...

before hand i was doing wireless play with a mate... then i turned it off...
5 minutes later.
i turned it on again.
and it just stopped working.

someone please just tell me straight up whether or not it can be fixed.
otherwise i'll just go buy myself a new r4.

You need to make sure it's not your DS.

Try someone else's card or a regular game and see if it plays.

I've seen your symptom with defective DSes.

well they don't use r4's they use that other one.. forgot the name.
but apparently
the ds works.

so maybe it is the r4?

Probably the R4.

1)Back up the microSD
2)format the microSD
3)Copy the files back into the microSD
4)If it still doesn't work, get another flashcart.
5)Don't get an R4 or any of the R4 clones.

i was planning to get another R4 revolution...
