Both my Starview and Eurovox went off at about 3:15, just getting no signal, checked connections, all ok, anyone else?

i avnt got a provider telewest was already installed when i moved in so i just plugged box in an it worked. now its sayin no signal tho.

my channel edit is greyed out because they got deleted when i reset the box. i think its the cable wire coz my eurovox is saying no signal aswel.

There is not a problem with the box's going down in the UK, if it says NO SIGNAL then that is exactly what it means. So unless there is a localised problem, then sorry burnsy09, it looks like you have had a good run and the CC has rerouted/disconnected your Cable Supply, the only way to get it back is for you to take out a basic subscription package.

Looks like CW and NTL rolled in the UK, so that might be it.

Did you flash your boxes after the new firmware came out or just manually input?

no i flashed it with new firmware version 1.5. i think ur right malci they've probably cut it off from ther end. does any1 have any idea if i can get the basic package without the phone and the internet. I just want the tv and if so how much would it be for that?

The basic package is currently £10 a month, depending on offers by VM, but this does include the phone rental as well. Not sure about package without phone, so your best bet is to give them a ring and make enquires. it is the only way you will get back up and running. Example of basic packages, I currently have TV and phone £10 and £10 broadband, not a bad deal £20 per month considering.

And unlimited Phon calls
A V+ box that can Record 2 diff channels
While you watch a 3 rd In HD
All for 38 Pounds amonth .............Paul

sound thanx for all ur help. i think am guna get a v+ box with basic package an hopefully wen i register they wil activate the cables sr8 away so i dont hav 2 w8 for the new box.
