Hi all,

my wife's NDS seems to be giving up the ghost, it has lines across the top of the touch screen and at times looks like it has double vision.

Is there anything to do, or is it just on its last legs?

Its well out of warrenty, but if i could get parts, im cofident i could repair it??

Any input welcome,

Cheers.

You can get replacement screens, ribbon cables and switches at dealextreme.com but if its the gpu or something on the main board going then that will just be a waste of your time. I'm not sure how to check if its the screens or something more serious.

Yeah thats my problem really, im not sure how to test each bit?

It does it with all games, pictochat and N5,

Looking at it now, it starts off with the picture moving up and down a pixel line, it does it slowly and gets faster until it makes the screen look fuzzy!
