I have a pstwo (slim) version SCPH-77001 and want to know:

1. Can I use Swap Magic Coder? (3.8)
2. Can I install Free Mc Boot with Swap Magic Coder and a memory card
considering the version of my pstwo?
3. Which set of magic keys do I need?
4. Is the flip top compatible?

I would like to soft mod my ps2 with Free Mc Boot, but I am unsure if it is possible or not. On this website, it shows what additional tools I will need and lists several model numbers so that customers can choose correctly. However, seeing as how my model number is not listed, I am confused as to whether or not I can use Swap Magic 3 Coder (3.8) to soft mod my pstwo (slim) with Free Mc Boot or not.

Furthermore, if I purchased a flip-top and magic key, would they work? Would I need the magic keys with the additional too (E) or what? I'm just a little confused because I don't see my model number listed anywhere and so I don't want to buy Swap Magic Coder, a ps2 mem card, and go through all this trouble if it's something that I can't do...

Btw, what version is SCPH-77001? Are there any things that I "can't" do with this version of pstwo?

Yes to all the above. You can use a flip-top or use the magic keys.
If you purchase magic keys, you can get Swap Tool V3 or V4

You PS2 is V16, and a lot of sites quite updating versions, and some still do.
But I know for a fact Swap Magic and fmcb 1.8 will work on your V16
