Hey.

My movie is avi and my subtitle is movie.srt

Im opening ConvertXtoDVD and draging the movie.avi into the list. Now I have no idea wot to do.

When I click the + on the movie. it says 1 subtitle steam - 0 internal, 1 external.

Should I just put DVD-R disc onto my pc and click convert ? Then it automatic burns with subtitle? And I can watch it on my dvd player with subtitle?
---
Convert = burn???

Convert doesn't necessarily mean burn.
Somewhere in the options is a place where you can tell it
to burn or not. Otherwise it just create the video_TS folder.
(or possibly ISO, which seems to be getting popular these days)

Okay. Please read carefully. Am explaining this with pictures.

Step 1: I open ConvertXtoDVD

Step 2: I drag the movie to ConvertXtoDVD

Step 3: I click the + and you can see the Hulk, External SRT

Step 4: I clicked convert and you can see a folder it created.

Step 5: It made Audio_TS and VIDEO_TS

Step 6: It made XXXXX_VOB File in VIDEO_TS Folder.

Thats what I did. I dont see any option to burn with subbed. Or did I do the right thing? I'll show you the next step. I'm going to use Nero Burning Rom because In ConvertXtoDVD I dont see where you can click burn.

Step 7: Im in Nero Burning Rom now. I click File - New - DVD-Video.

Should I just Click burn now? Then it burns on my DVD-R with subtitle on?

Or did I do all wrong? If it is: I'll show you a new step its number 8.

Step 8: Using Nero Burning Rom to burn. I click File - New - DVD-Rom (ISO)

Now I just click burn, and it burns with subtitle? So I can watch on my DVD player? Or will it not work, and I should use step 1-7, and forget about step 8?

PS: Please tell me how to burn with subtitle so I can watch on my DVD-Player. Need an answer as fast as possible :(

Try out 1-7 and see what you get. You should be happy with the results. :)

With deductive skills like that, I don't think you needed to come to us at all.

EDIT:

But the filesize does seem incredibly small. I'm guessing the original file is a DivX/Xvid .avi file? Even still, I would've expected the movie to be a bit bigger. Maybe it's just me. Anyway, if it looks fine to you, then it's nothing to worry about.
