Hi everyone!

I have some files uploaded on Megaupload, and I wish to download them. I am trying to use the Megaupload Happy Hour Premium toolbar promotion, although whenever I try to download the file it says that Happy Hour Premium is not compatible with dynamic ip addresses. Is there a way I can switch the ip address to a static one? I know it depends on the isp I have, but unfortunately I am using my school's isp so I can't change it.

Not sure if this will do it or not but you can give it a try.

Goto Start Control panel goto network and internet connections then select network connections right click on the active connection and select properties in the box select tcp/ip and click on properties select use the following ip address and u can set one. This is how u do it in Xp. This may or may not work for u but u can give it a try.

You're changing your computer's internal ip address, not the external in the router from the ISP as I understand it: http://www.portforward.com/networking/staticip.htm Any help here?

Unfortunately, both didn't seem to work out. Maybe its something we cannot set from our side itself, it must have to do with our isp.
