R4 sdhc & fire card issues - advice needed

hi guys,
i rather hoping that someone can point me in the right direction.
i have an r4 sdhc which i have managed to install the software for and all the games that i put on it work fine, i also have a fire card and i have put the new and updated software on it but only certain games that i have put on the card will play, anyone have any ideas??- the only difference is that i have not put moonshell on my firecard,- would this be irrelevant??
