Best program for ripping DVD's

Good morning to all!

I recently purchased a copy of ?Shark ? the 1st season? for $39.00 from iTunes for the purpose of adding it to my movie library.

After the purchase, I realized Apple will not let me make a DVD copy to be played on another player without purchasing Apple TV. Yes, it does let me back it up (data) but that?s it. Had I known this was the case I would have went to Best Buy Etc. to purchase it, if available.

Does anyone know of a program I can use to perform this task as well as making back up copies? I see lots and lots of ads for ripping, but which one is the best for what I want to do? I?ve been looking at Wondershare and iSkysoft DVD Rippers for Mac ? what do you think? HELP!
