i have a copy of a ps2 game on my computer in a winrar file. now i know that you click on one of the archives and it extracts everything and merges them into the iso image but this file is different.
i usually click on the RAR file named "ps2...palmulti5..." and extract it to one folder and in that folder there are a lot of rar files named part1..part2..and so on and extract them, and they create the iso automatically. but after extracting it to a folder the parts are not rar files so i cant extract them and merge them. so what do i do to combine these files.
these files are called 'dnl-nfsu2.001' and it says the file type is 'file 001' 'file 002'......

You should check where you obtained the files from to see what compression methods they used.

Some guys use a program called msplit, or you could try joining them with a program called hjsplit , they both split and join files.

Ok well then thats probably not the right method either.

Do you have any one file there that has a .7z extension or an .exe

That would be the one to click open to start it.

If not can you take a screen shot of your folder of files.

Ok I see there is no file extension on the first file.

If you go to Tool > Folder Properties in your Explorer Window
Then go to "View" in the Tab
Unclick "hide extensions for known file types"

Then see if anything shows there.

And then you could download this compression utility and I bet you will click on that very first file there to unzip

Are you using Windows XP?

You just "right click" on that file and extract to a place on your computer.

Hello,
I've downloaded a torrent file(Parasite eve 2.rar), finished with seeding and such. Problem was: I got some ecm files when I extracted it with WinRAR. I've no idea on how to get the ISO file. Please help...(Thanks...)

Can you take a screenshot of your files or name them to me.

First you need to make sure that .ISO is unticked in your winrar settings.
Just open Winrar, go to "Options" > "Settings" > "Integration"
