Hi everyone, I am having a very difficult time with the SoundMAX Integrated Digital Sound System. I used the Audacity music program to record a song I've written. The next time I tried to record again, the minute I clicked on Record, I heard a noise, of which I have no idea what it really sounded like. Not since then, have I been able to use my sound system again.

I do have computer and internet sounds back, but I can't play or record music any more. I have tried replacing the drivers, that didn't work either. I've also re-installed Audacity, as well as tried another music creation\editing program. I have an electronic keyboard which I use.

I am wondering if the problem could be in the plug jacks on the back of the computer? But, I really just don't have a clue. I have looked all over the Internt, and no one seems to have any ideas except to tell me, "replace the drivers". I have done that, and that is not the problem. Any information of possible cause would be appreciated.
