Are you sure you have the correct firmware for your card and that you copied all the necessary files onto it?

Check out this post for more information.

when i bought my R4 card it came with a disc and all the files i needed were on the disc and on the Micro ds card- it also came pre loaded.

Did you get a disc with yours if so the .dat file should be on there

That said, you're probably better off downloading the firmware as the firmware on the disc may be out of date.

ok seems ive got the latests download i have 1.18 - have no idea why i said it was 3.8 lol! but i will now bookmark that site for future downloads although that one was dated back in April last year maybe there is not a newer version out as yet. looking at the dates seems there maybe one in about May. Ive also got a dvd with A-z list of games not sure how old it is it was part of the bundle i got with my card.there are about 400+ games on there. Does anyone know where you can get more of these dvds or even download the lastest games. ive got winrar which was on the list of games
thanks

I believe that asking for ROMS of games for the DS, if they aren't homebrew, is against the rules. That said, google is your friend. As it is if you are looking for homebrew games.

Homebrew are games that are essentially homemade games for the DS. They have no relation to Nintendo and are always free and legal to download. The ROMs I was referring to means copies of actual Nintendo games, like you'd find in any shop, that are downloadable through some sites, which are illegal, unless you already own a copy of the game. (Even then though I think it''s still a legal grey area)

Pretty much. Here's a site to start you off: www.ndshb.com

I don't use much homebrew myself at the minute, so I can't give you much more information. Just make sure you scan everything withj a virus scanner. There is one "bricker" virus out there, but the chances of you coming accross it are really unlikely.
