Hi

Just bought an Acekard2 for my daughter. She wants to download games and also copy her existing games onto the Acekard2. I have no knowledge of Nintendos! Can anyone give me an idiot's (parent's) guide to setting up and using the Acekard?

download this firmware http://www.acekard.com/download/ak2/ak2_414_20090114_release.zip
extract it (by 7zip or winzip/winrar) and copy __ak2 and akmenu4.nds over onto your micro sd card. add some games (google search nds roms) and play.
if you wants mp3, text and picture files, download this http://www.acekard.com/download/ak2/moonshell.zip
extract and copy over moonshl and MoonShell_AUTOPATCH_Default (No interface).nds
to launch media player, select MoonShell_AUTOPATCH_Default (No interface).nds on the ds.

Wow - that was easy. Many thanks she's downloaded one game already and is really happy. How do we put her existing games (on cartridges) onto the Acekard so she can carry all of her games on one card?

Thanks. I may be wrong but I was under the impression that you didn't need any more hardware and could back up ROMS/games just using the NDS and the Acekard.

you dont needs to buy any more hardware. your acekard2 is fine.
its quite hard to get your existing cartridge games onto the acekard2, its much easier if you just download them from the net. google search nds roms
