Getting Swap Magic 3.8 to work!

I am having a problem loading backups with my burned Swap Magic 3.8 (Really not looking to waste my money on another Swap Magic). First, I use my original Swap Magic 3.6 to load burned Swap Magic 3.8. After that I try to load my games with Swap Magic 3.8. All it does is go to the menu screen with my memory cards.

The method to boot a burned copy of Swap Magic

Boot your backup Swap Magic and hit the EJECT button.
Insert a high TOC PS2DVD and wait for it to refresh, then swap in your backup using Fliptop or slide tool
Choose your Cheats and Start game

The only way around this TOC refresh is to install fmcb 1.8 using your Swap magic.

Then you can use the SM 3.8 elf to load backups.
Here is how I do it with fmcb 1.8
