Im trying to play a streaming video from the net with WMP and it keeps giving me an error message that "Internet Explorer cannot display this page".

Also all my downloaded movies that Ive transfered onto a disc cannot be played with WMP11. There are sounds but no picture.

What am I missing? What am I doing wrong?

you need to download and install K-lite Codec Pack

If your internet explorer is 64bit, that could also be the problem. Use 32bit IE if u can.
