Very strange. This is the only BD that crashes my Win-XP PC. If you have King Kong on BD, could you please post here, and let me know if PowerDVD allows playback of King Kong on your PC...?

King Kong BD loads ok, I get the disc main menu, then I hit play, then it plays the first one or two intro's, then as soon as the movie begins PowerDVD hangs. I have to use Windows Task Manager to end (non-responsive) PowereDVD. After ending task, my PC does a hard crash, and reboots. The same BD plays-back fine on my PS3.

Seperately, I created a backup of King Kong (tsmuxer on the 00000.mpls file outputing to a M2TS file) and I can play the movie back perfectly via my Network Media Player (Tvix 6500). If I play the same M2TS file on my PC (using PowerDVD) it hangs PowerDVD, then crashes my PC -It crashes just like it did when I use the Blu-ray disc.

This is a funny one, but I have stopped laffing...
