Trouble with tricky titles??

I was wondering if anyone else has had any difficulty backing up the following games for the PS2...Simpson's Road Rage, Mat Hoffman's Pro BMX or Family Fued? I have successfully backed up several games before but I'm having nothing but grief with these MDF/MDS & IMG/CUE files that I now have.
It is important that I can burn playable back-ups of these games for my modded PS2 as they are some of my wife's favs and she thinks I'm having trouble with them on purpose ;~)
I'm not a newbie but step by step instructions are always appreciated. I do have a large selection of software installed that should do the trick but I just have not come up with the correct combo yet and I'm getting tired of wasting discs.
Any help greatly appreciated!
