THis issue just started a couple days ago. I got a new headset and everythingworked fine. The next day I went to watch a video and the audio sounded like it was being played through a tin can. This isn't only happening with the headset, it does it with the PC speakers as well as the home theater system. I have tried everything I can think of.I just can't get this problem figured out. I tried going through the audio settings and making sure there were no effects on and even set everything to default. Oh by the way I am using windows vista.
