Make sure that soft reset is on before you load the game (indicator in upper right corner of lower screen is GREEN)

While in game, you reset with L+R+A+B+X+Y

(Hold down L and R trigger buttons, then press A-B-X-Y with your thumb at the same time.

So, please clarify what is happening.

Is it stuck on the loading screen after you activate soft reset or before the first game gets loaded?

In other words, are you able to play games and do a soft reset but the menu never returns after the soft reset?

Are you using the right firmware for your card?

I use 1.18 on my "Original R4" and soft reset works fine.

There are at least 9 different variations of R4.
