I just bought a brand new blank Seagate Barracuda 500GB and I haven't been able to install it into my other xbox because I have some doubts has to how the 32k clusters should be. What kind of software should I use to format the drive? I have a softmodded xbox. All of the drives I've used to replace xbox hard drives have been previously formatted drives from retail purchased PCs. One of my boxes has a previously formatted hard drive from a PC, but I'm trying to replace the stock drive from my other box with this new drive. I know that xboxhdm will correctly format the F partition of 137GB correctly, but what about the remaining GB that will make up the G partition? How can I create the 32K clusters? Any response will greatly be appreciated. Thanks

I was just reading your question here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_jump.cfm/533828/4502329 and couldn't for the life of me remember what the best method is (my 500GB in the main xbox never was formatted properly and is about 80GB short of the 500GB hence isn't going to suffer any data loss and i can't bring myself to spend the time needed to empty and reformat - i will only lose any data if i add anything up to that last 80GB ie stuff will start disappearing off the disk. I've had data loss a few times back when i didn't know the cause, as i say i just can't be doing with the time needed to empty/recopy everything).
