Advice needed on WD TV

I am about to rip my entire music collection of almost 1200 cds to .ogg or .mp3 format. I want to be able to play them from an external hdd. I was thinking of using WD TV to do this through my TV and sound system.

The only question that I have is, will the interface on WD TV be easily able to navigate through all of the files and folders that will be created on the HDD? Will the navigation process be similar to navigating through folders of mp3 albums in windows or will it be different?

I have bought crappy media players in the past that were supposed to just plug into the TV and play but as soon as I try to navigate through a large amount of music it was a real chore.

I have no plans to use the device for anything else but playing music.

Any advice greatly appreciated.
