Nero Ultra 8 won't finish Installing

I am trying to install Nero 8 Ultra on a new Vista laptop. In starts the installer and all to about the end and then a box comes up that states that a previous program installation requires a restart, please restart your computer. I then restart the laptop and the installation starts back up once the laptop has booted back up. I then get the same message again and again mo matter how many times I try it. I do have the user control disabled also. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance, Paul

I found the answer to my problem by doing some major searching. Below is the solution that worked for me.

1 Click Start
2. click Run.
3. In the Open box, type regedit, and then click OK.
4. Locate and click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager

5. Locate and delete any PendingFileRenameOperations values in the key.
6. Click Yes when you are prompted to confirm the deletion.
7. Quit Registry Editor
8. DO NOT restart your computer, just reinstall Nero and it will work just fine. Rebooting will cause the same problem as before.
