Hello awhile back i was trying to delete old versions of java

and then something went wrong and i deleted all the contents of the java folder

and uninstalled all instances of java with the remove program
app in control panel

now when ever i try to install java from the website i just get an installation failed after trying to install

the java folder is empty
and when i go to control panel there is no java at all


i would like to install it to play online games basically
the latest update ive tried installing is java 6 update 11

Try installing an older version of java instead of the latest. Do a google search for "Older Java Versions", start from the bottom up. If you can get one of them to install, you should then be able to upgrade to the latest.
