I bought a portable 160gb HDD from ebay quite a while ago and it was working ok untill one very hot day I was using the HDD in the car coz I was away from home and I was using it on my laptop for about 10 minutes then it just turned off I tried it again it didn't work just comes up with a light and I go to my computer the computer frezzes unplug the HDD that has to two usb's I think the other one is for extra power from the laptop and it unfrezzes OMG it has all my work !. When I went back home I opened it up and found a laptop HDD attached inside I couldent find any signs off anything burned so I put it back together, the other day I was running Ubantu (Linux) and pluged the HDD and it worked I was like OMG thank god !!! thats not the point the point is why dosn't it work on windows but works totally fine on LINUX PLZ HELP I WILL BE FOREVER GREATFULL!!!
