I am having the same problem with Nero 7 and Nero 9, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling both, to no avail. Never had a problem using Nero 7 on my old computer

Recently bought a new computer, an HP Pavilion with Windows Vista. Now, Nero works fine for one or two burns, but then it starts freezing up when I try to add video files (both avi and mpg) to a new project. It freezes as soon as I select the file I want to add. I am having the same problem with Nero 7 and the most recent Nero 9. If I reboot my computer, Nero again works okay for one or two projects, then starts freezing.

I tried googling this problem and found a recommendation to download the latest CCCP codec pack, which I did, but that hasn't helped.

Any help would be most appreciated! Thanks!
