Ok, like this..I have a NEC 1300 DVDRW and it burns DVD-R discs at 2x and 4X..I want to burn DVD-R discs at 1X speed..How can I do that? Pls. help Im using Nero..and when I want to chose speed..I can choose between 2X and 4X. Thanx.

Hiya,

As far as I am aware, the 2x speed (lowest setting) is a limitation of firmware/hardware..

looks like you are stuck with 2x being the lowest speed you can select.
