iv bin browsing the forum for the last few months and gotten a fair bit of info so its about time i said thanks, cheers!
Now, iv got my own dreambox working grand, its got the DW image on it and the latest keys and i can ftp to it no problem (thanks to this site).
So i got a friends dreambox (the exact same model) and i copied the keylist file to this dreambox. This friend's dreambox is using The Gemini Project with mgcamd.
After copying over the keylist file, the nagrarom 7 file and the services file from the working dreambox, i went and did a transponder scan on friend's box, im living in dublin so i choose "ntl ie bf" and this comes up after scanning:
0 new transponders
0 new tv services
0 new radio stations
0 new data services
35 transponders with 183 services scanned
so then i try "ntl cable ie" and thie results are:
0 new transponders
0 new tv services
0 new radio stations
0 new data services
11 transponders with 152 services scanned
Whats weird is that all euronews stations work, discovery turbo works, rte 1, EWTN, Info TV and Setanta Ireland are working fine so the signal is coming through.
Anyone any ideas? i havn't got the null modem cable so cant put a new image on but didnt think this would be necessary? cheers.
