Hello, I'm fairly new ti this type of editing, being somewhat old school with an indepth background with analog, so pardon me if my jargon might not be up to speed. My inquiry is this, ..I'm working with Vegas 7 in HD and for a particular project I need it in an extreme widescreen. If I render in 1080i with this program, no matter how many times I re-render it maintains a standard 16x9 format. If I go to render in an NTSC widescreen DV format I get my effect, I can re-render until I get the extreme effect I want ..but I believe I'm losing the HD picture in this format..? Right? If so, ..what if anything can I do the get the effect in HD that I'm looking for..? Any thoughts? O'Shea email removed
